The event that for nearly a decade has been the destination for Milwaukee's rising women leaders to be challenged, connected, and changed. We took a beat. We grew. And now we're coming back with more energy, more intention, and more reason to be in the room than ever before.

This isn't a passive afternoon of inspiration, it's an active, immersive half-day experience built by and for women who are ready to go further, faster, and together. The agenda is intentional from start to finish. You'll open with lunch and a guided networking activity that goes beyond small talk. Then the full room comes together for a keynote conversation designed to push your thinking. From there, you'll select a breakout session that speaks to where you are in your journey right now - because leadership isn't one-size-fits-all. The EWL Elevate panel puts you face-to-face with women in our community who are leading out loud and lifting as they climb. The day wraps with Happy Hour, because the best connections don't end when the programming does.

On the court, Coach Cara Consuegra coaches her players to never settle for a safe shot when a great one is available. Off the court, she lives by the same rule. As Head Coach of Marquette Women's Basketball, she's built a career by playing big in every area of her life - leadership, motherhood, advocacy, and ambition. Coach Cara has navigated a path that few women have walked, rising through the ranks of college athletics with boldness, grit, and a voice she refused to turn down. In this moderated keynote alongside Kareeda Chones-Aguam, she's bringing that same sideline energy to our Emerging Women Leaders. Not just to share her story, but to challenge every woman in the room to stop playing it safe and start making the moves that matter.

TEMPO’s own research tells the story: 35% of Emerging Women Leaders in Milwaukee are currently considering leaving their organization. 48% have considered leaving the city entirely. Nearly two-thirds have at some point considered walking out the door, not because they lack ambition, but because the systems meant to support them have pulled back. Nationally, McKinsey’s 11-year study confirms the same pattern: the ambition gap is not about drive. It is about discouragement.

So how does AI close the gap?

AI didn’t create the broken rung, but used strategically, it can help women climb over it. When women develop AI fluency on their own terms, before someone decides it isn’t for them, they build visibility, accelerate output, and demonstrate exactly the kind of forward-thinking leadership that gets noticed and sponsored.

This is a supportive, educational conversation focused on empowerment, informed decision‑making, and taking control of one’s financial future.

EWL Elevate is EWL's premier leadership development program designed for women poised to step into senior leadership roles. Developed in collaboration with Marquette University's Graduate School of Management and supported by the TEMPO Foundation, the 10-week program blends academic rigor with practical application across four core themes: leadership identity, preparing for the next step, inspiring and influencing others, and leading change.
