The TEMPO Foundation is the charitable arm of TEMPO, dedicated to empowering women across Wisconsin through undergraduate scholarships and professional development grants. By investing in education and leadership development, the Foundation helps women build the skills, confidence, and opportunities to lead.
Since 1990, the TEMPO Foundation has awarded more than $525,000 in undergraduate scholarships and continues to expand its impact through annual professional development grants. Thanks to the generosity of our members, corporate partners, and community supporters, we are creating opportunities that strengthen women, organizations, and communities across Wisconsin.

How We Give Back
Professional Development Grants
Since 2018, the TEMPO Foundation has awarded $12,000–$18,000 each year through its Professional Development Grant program to established professional women pursuing leadership development, training, and other opportunities to advance their careers.
The Foundation prioritizes applicants who face personal, professional, or financial barriers to achieving their professional development goals. By helping women access opportunities to learn and grow, the Foundation expands the impact of women leaders across our communities.
The Professional Development Grant application will open early 2027.
Undergraduate Scholarships
Through TEMPO's Annual Mentor Awards, the TEMPO Foundation has provided more than $300,000 in undergraduate scholarships to college juniors and seniors across Wisconsin.
Since 1990, TEMPO Mentor Award recipients have designated a Wisconsin college or university to receive a $5,000 scholarship in their name for a female student in need. For more than 30 years, this program has helped expand educational opportunities for women across the state.
Non-Cash Giving
We recognize giving can take many forms, and we're appreciative of non-cash contributions as well, including appreciated securities, gifts from retirement accounts, and life insurance policies.
